CHALLENGE
A HK based multinational insurance company need to manage and process a large amount of customers’ documents every day, including application form, claim form, customer’s personal documents, etc. These forms need to be printed out, signed by customers & stored as physical archive. The needed information must be entered manually for smoothing the application.
Under this process, she encountered the following business challenges:
1) Low efficiency of processing the forms & documents
2) Accuracy issues due to manual work
3) Time-consuming of manual data input of different forms & manual retrieval of the physical archive
SOLUTION
WCL Solution provided the insurance company a customized mobile OCR solution for them recognize & capture data from different documents such as application form, claim form, personal documents etc.
Customers can fill in their personal information in the mobile app of IPad. And the customer’s information from about 10 types of personal documents type like ID card, entry proof can be recognized & extracted in the mobile app.
