CHALLENGE
A global equipment supplier in Hong Kong needs to process approximately 10,000 to 20,000 amount of good receipts per year for warehouse usage in their supply chain from 2017. After receiving the hard copies of the documents, workers need to manually enter data from papers and match to their SAP system one-by-one. Under this process, they encountered the following business challenges:
1) Time-consuming of manual data input of good receipts & manual retrieval of the physical archive
2) Accuracy issues due to manual work
3) Low efficiency of processing the good receipt for warehouse usage
SOLUTION
WCL Solution helped the customer to create an “automated end-to-end good receipt processing system”.
The solution includes scanning solution for their documents, and generic templates that help the customer to classify, capture and index their large volume of good receipts for warehouse usage, then integrated with their SAP system.

Achieved high OCR accuracy rate (95% or above) of capturing needed information than manual data input. User can check the extracted data in SAP system
